Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing (MSN, MS) and current Texas registered
nurse license. Recognition as an advanced practice nurse by the Texas
Board of Nurse Examiners (BNE). Current prescriptive authorization
from BNE. Authorization for prescribing controlled substances III-V with
DEA number. 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner. Experience treating children and adolescents.
National certification as a psychiatric-mental health NP is preferred.
Purpose of This Position
Provides psychiatric-mental health care services for patients in
collaboration with psychiatrists, clinical psychologist, licensed
professional counselor and other members of the health care team.
Essential Functions
Performs initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication
management. Occasional psychotherapy and supervision of intensive
outpatient program.

Part-time Office Assistant is needed for our Dallas office. About 20 - 25
hours a week. Starting salary $8.50/hour. Computer skills are a must.
Duties include handling multi-line phone, calling insurance companies,
