An Intensive Outpatient Return to Work Program
|
For adults who:
Have psychological problems in returning to work after emotional
difficulties, injury or illness;
Are transitioning to work from traditional outpatient or inpatient
services.
The Intensive Return to Work Program meets as a group three to five
days a week for three hours a day with a psychologist and other
clinical staff. The group focuses on treating depression, anxiety and
phobias that impede return to work, and promotes building work
related communication skills, self-confidence, anger and stress
management. There is a continual focus on promoting positive
attitudes about self and return to work. Medication assessment and
management occur daily.
